"What lies behind us, and what lies before us..." By ~Vintage Nina~


This angel I did for my wonderful hubby. She represents lessons and intergity. The colors in the painting are bright, because she is the light in a hard time. The water look effect on the painting is wet embossing. I put a Ralph Waldo Emerson (He is one of my favorite) quote on the painting it says: What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

    Beautiful piece. I especially love her facial expression and the placement of her hand. Your composition and choice of colour just give it such a peaceful feel.
