Canvases that cost NOTHING by ~Vintage Nina~

Can you guess what this canvas is??? It cost me nothing and I am helping the Universe by recycling......I LOVE recycling!!!

This is with gesso on the "MYSTERY CANVAS" and
a face I sketched out.
I LOVE a thick side on a canvas, and this one has it!!! So did you guess what the canvas is made of???
IT is boxes, any kind of box. I just did the front of the "Sweet N Low" box with brown bag paper so you could see the effect below.

I am LOVING this new idea of mine, and when I am all done I will show you what I am doing with all of my paintings! Save a box, and give it a try.....it is SO MUCH FUN!!!
HAPPY DAY!!! XOXO~Nina

Freebie Fun from ~Vintage Nina~

I had so much fun making these tags. I am going to add them to some apple butter jars I made. I also will be using these on other pretties too. If you like any of the below creations by: ~Vintage Nina~  please download and ENJOY!!!

This one is so special to me. I will use this one for a note to my hubby........I LOVE MY HUBBY SO MUCH!!!

PLEASE~ Enjoy Life!!! I can think of so many things I am doing with this image!!!

Beautiful Girl........does she not look like she is dreaming of her future??? I think I will make some cards with her!
This one makes me think of my special friends and sisters, so I will be making some cards for them with this image. I had so much fun making all of these images:).
I know the above image might be hard to read, so I thought I would share the message:

You are OK. Everything is as it should be. The energy of the world ebbs and flows and luck, happenstance, and obstacles are truly a part of everyone’s life. How you respond to things says a lot about your inner state of being. The ups and downs are never “over” as much as they are accepted, responded to, lived with, transformed—and then life begins anew.
Know and believe this: Energy replenishes, it’s flow is constant. You can rejuvenate. You can feel fresh, alive, vibrant, free. You are whole today. You are missing nothing.
Free yourself of the burdens of the past and step into a new way of being. Intend a transformation. You can feel like you are back to yourself and yet more of the beautiful person that you are.

I hope you enjoy my fun creations......please use or share any you like!!!
HAPPY DAY!!! ~Nina

For the LOVE of a Rosary!!!

Let me start out by saying I am not a Catholic, but I do LOVE Rosaries, Saints, Candles and so much more that the Religion has to offer. I am so BLESSED and I have the most BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING life and family!!! Here is my first attempt at making Rosaries. While I was making these Rosaries I was only thinking of Love, Peace, Hope, Health, Laughter, Strength, Happiness and so much more. I wanted only Positive energy in each one!

My Beautiful Kristin loved this one, so I had to give it to her. I LOVE MY GIRLS!!!

I love the turquoise cross, and the old world feel. The coral rose beads are from a Vintage necklace, they are so unique and beautiful!!!

Isabella had to have this Rosary. She loved the purple and the silver glass beads. She is my "bling bling girl". She hangs her Rosaries on her bed post behind her bed. SO CUTE!!!

This is a Saint bracelet I made. My Niece Samantha went to Italy last summer and brought some Saint charms back for me. LOVE THEM!!!
My SWEET Isabella got her cast off...........WHOO HOO!!!! We are enjoying our summer!!! I LOVE MY KIDDIES!!!! HAPPY DAY!!!~Nina

Upcycling....Repurposing.....And Beautiful Things!!!

I am SO EXCITED anytime I can reuse something and make it better. I made this banner for Isabella's teacher Mrs. Kleszcz. I have to say Isabella LOVES her teacher and I do too!!! It is so nice when your kids are happy at school!!! Anyhoo.....I made this banner for her out of old clothes that I just could not donate, because I knew I could make something pretty. I think the hardest part of making this banner was putting together the ribbons and materials, but I loved doing it, and it is my first attempt at making a banner. FUN COLORS:)

A few weekends ago we ordered pizza and instead of throwing the box away I told my hubby I was going to make something with the box. So........here is what I made. Pink roses with stone centers. I dyed coffee filters pink with food dye, then dried them in the oven. After that cut out a circle from the pizza box added the coffee filters with a hot glue gun and then added a gem in the center. I hung them over Isabella's bed and she loves them......that makes me SO HAPPY!!!

This is a flower pom pom I made for Isabella's room also. I had so much fun making this with Isabella!! It is SUPER EASY to make, and if Isabella can make one with a broken arm at 9 years old then anyone can!!! We made two of them for her room, but we are still trying to figure out where we are going to hang it.
The blue one is for Kristin's room. She is now 14 years old, and she loves them too. Her room is chocolate and blue, so I think it will be perfect hanging above her bed!!

This is another coffee filter flower I made for Kristin's room.

I also used coffee filters that I stained with coffee on a pillow, and a rose pillow made from an old brown dress. The floral heart pillow my hubby made for me.......he is so SWEET and WONDERFUL!!!

I made this coffee filter wreath, yes...... I used a pizza box, coffee filters stained with coffee and some pearls from a broken necklace that was my daughters. All repurposed!!! :)

This is a present I wrapped in a brown paper grocery bag ( I reuse the paper bags for LOTS of things), and coffee filter roses......I will never buy another bow again!!!

I have done a little something for the environment, and had so much FUN doing it....whoot whoot!!!
Happy Day!!!~Nina
